Privacy
This page says what this site runs and what it stores. It is short because the site does very little. There is no contact form, no account, no database and no server that keeps anything about you.
What runs in your browser
- Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights
- Counts page views and measures how fast pages load.
- No cookies. No identifier that follows you between sites or visits.
- Runs for everyone. It needs no consent because it stores nothing on your device.
- Google Analytics 4
- Traffic detail: which pages get read, and which links get clicked.
- Sets cookies and sends your IP address and page URL to Google.
- Off until you accept. Google Consent Mode v2 is set to denied before the Google script is allowed to load, so nothing is measured while the banner is still up. Decline is a real decline and keeps it off.
- Outfit, the typeface
- The font this site is set in.
- Nothing. It is served from this domain.
- Not needed. The font files are built into the site rather than fetched from Google, so loading a page here does not tell Google you were here.
What is stored on your device
- Your theme choice
- Whether you picked light or dark with the toggle.
- One value in localStorage, named theme.
- Set only when you click the toggle. It never leaves your browser, so there is nothing to ask about.
- Your answer to the cookie banner
- Whether you accepted or declined analytics.
- One value in localStorage, named consent.
- Stored so the banner stops asking. Declining is stored too, which is why the banner does not come back.
When you leave this site
Booking the audit opens cal.com, which is a separate company with its own privacy policy. What you type into that form goes to them and to me: your name, your email, what you are building, what stage it is at, and whether you have a budget. Nothing else is asked, and the form is not on this site.
The site is hosted by Vercel and served through Cloudflare. Both see the usual request information, including your IP address, in order to deliver the page to you.
Your rights, and how to use them
Under the GDPR you can ask what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and object to it being processed. In practice this site holds nothing that identifies you: the analytics are aggregate, and anything you sent through cal.com is in that booking. Write to me and I will answer.
